Saint Hubert of Liege Icon
Saint Hubert was an eighth-century bishop associated with Maastricht and Liege. After the death of Saint Lambert, Hubert continued missionary and pastoral work in the region and transferred the episcopal center to Liege. He died in 727 and is honored on November 3. His long-established patronage includes hunters and foresters, making his image familiar in European hunting and woodland communities.
