The subject comes from Revelation 3:20, within Christ's message to the church in Laodicea: he stands at the door and knocks, promising table fellowship to the person who hears and opens. Read in context, the verse is an invitation to repentance, renewed zeal, and communion with Christ. It should not be reduced to a vague slogan about success or personal fulfillment.

Christ stands before a closed door and raises his hand to knock.
