Icon of Blessed Laura Vicuña – Model of Purity, Faith and Sacrificial Love
Blessed Laura Vicuña (1891–1904) was a young Chilean girl formed by the Salesian Sisters.
Out of love for Christ and her mother, she offered her short life as a prayer for her mother’s conversion.
She died at the age of 13, leaving an example of innocence, courage, and deep holiness.
A child’s faith that inspires
Laura followed the spirituality of Saint John Bosco and Mary Help of Christians,
living in joy, humility, and prayer.
She is patron saint of youth, girls, and purity of heart.
Symbolism and craftsmanship
The golden background represents heavenly light and divine grace,
while her serene expression reflects trust and spiritual innocence.
Each icon is made on solid linden wood, hand-gilded,
and printed directly on gold, then sealed with protective varnish.
A gift of purity and faith
The Icon of Blessed Laura Vicuña makes a meaningful religious gift for young people and families,
a symbol of hope, love, and faith lived fully.
