Description

Our Lady of Częstochowa appears on the front of this ecru chasuble, while a gold Marian symbol decorates the back. A richly embroidered panel provides the principal decoration on the smooth ground. The two sides have different motifs, so the vestment presents a figurative image from the front and a Marian emblem from behind.

Design and construction

The fabric is 100% polyester, and the neckline has a roll collar. An inner stole is included. This model is distinguished by the combination of the Częstochowa image, an ecru ground and the gold symbol on the reverse. Check both gallery views when comparing it with other Marian chasubles.

Use and care

The chasuble is worn over the alb and stole for the celebration of Mass. Arrange the front and back evenly, leaving the fabric and decoration to fall freely. Choose the liturgical color according to the calendar and the applicable rubrics; the Marian motif does not by itself determine which vestment may be worn on a particular day.

Before first use, check the seams, edges and position of the embroidery, then try the chasuble with the alb and stole that will be worn underneath. Follow the garment’s care label for cleaning and ironing. Store it on a suitably broad hanger, keeping the embroidered areas free from heavy objects and tight folds.
